I believe that there are two issues here:
1) You probably are not running the latest version of Java. That can be simply downloaded and installed. There is a link on my site under the FAQ's for Budget Ace (http://www.walltechsoftware.com)
2) You are using a very old version of my program from this site. My program has been updated and should work fine. I would suggest that you download and install the version from my web site.

The program works fine on Windows XP. The reason why you may not have been able to get it working is that you may have not had the latest version of Java installed. That is a requirement for running the program. If you contacted our support staff and/or our forum, you could have had some help with minimum struggle. I am sorry to hear that you wasted time trying to get it up and running.

I would also suggest that you try the latest version of my program. This site has my old Budget Master program. If you want the latest, it is now called Budget Ace and has many enhancements and bug fixes in it. It can be downloaded from http://www.walltechsoftware.com.

I previously note my expenses on a spreadsheet for tracking purposes. Budget Master made my life easier by automatically plotting my expenses per category. In that way, I can now see in one glance where my money went and where I can possibly cut down on expenses for me to save for my future.

Thank you very much!

I haven't really had a great chance to try the program, but have found it to be very useful so far. The only problem I have noticed is that there are no buttons at the top right for maximize, minimize and close. They are either not there or do not show up on my screen. I am unable to resize the window to see if they exist.
